Abby - HART

Abby was found on the streets with severe mange across both eyes, leaving her blind and in pain. She also had infections in her ears that made her tender to the touch. With the help of Pawsitive Effects and donations to Hardee Animal Clinic, Abby received the medical care she needed. After 5-6 weeks of treatment, including surgery, Abby has fully healed and is doing amazing. She’s now ready to find her forever home and share her love with a lucky family.

Pawsitive Effects is proud to have helped Abby along her recovery path, and we look forward to the next chapter in her life.

Sofia - Barking Out Loud Rescue

Sofia, a Belgian Malinois adopted through the Barking Out Loud CORPS Prison Program, faced a heartbreaking setback. After escaping her home, she was struck by a car, fracturing her front left leg. Sadly, overwhelmed by the potential veterinary costs, her adopter made the difficult decision to surrender Sofia.

Sofia received a leg splint and pain medication to start her recovery. While the full veterinary cost remains unknown, with the help from Pawsitive Effects, she will be able to heal fully and find the loving forever home she deserves.

Tippy & Marky Mark - HART

Tippy and Marky Mark received life-saving heartworm treatment with the assistance of Pawsitive Effects. Tippy, neglected by a breeder with poor preventative care, suffered the consequences of outdoor living. Marky Mark, abandoned in an isolated orange grove, required careful trapping due to his fear. Both are now thriving, thanks to Pawsitive Effects' support, ensuring they enjoy extended, joyful lives.

Keno - Sebring Angels

Keno was formerly residing with a widower who was unable to provide proper care. Keno arrived in dire physical condition, suffering from infections and severe matting. With Pawsitive Effects' intervention, Keno received veterinary care including antibiotics, pain medication, and a much-needed dental procedure. After multiple grooming sessions, Keno transformed into a joyful, healthy companion, thriving with each passing day!

Mellow - Saunders Second Chances

Meet Mellow, rescued from Animal Services by Saunders Second Chances. With help from Pawsitive Effects, we performed eye surgery and removed several mast cells, with more to follow. Mellow has received comprehensive veterinary care and is ready to live a happy and healthy life!

Ghost - Sebring Angels

Ghost, a rescue from a backyard breeder, had to undergo eye surgery for inflamed eyes. Though still in recovery, he's enjoying the affection of his new caregivers who adore him. With help from Pawsitive Effects, his rehabilitation is progressing, despite his reluctance to wear the "cone of shame"!

Dakota - Heartland Pet Rescue

Dakota, a golden lab, was surrendered to us with a large, open mass on her neck. Thanks to Pawsitive Effects, we were able to provide the necessary surgery, ensuring this girl could live pain-free and enjoy a normal life.

Brighton - Heartland Pet Rescue

Brighton was discovered on an Indian reservation, confined to a small crate under the scorching sun without food or water, surrounded by his waste. Emaciated and severely ill, his condition was dire. Fortunately, compassionate individuals intervened. Uncertain of Brighton's survival, we fervently prayed for him. Thanks to Pawsitive Effects' swift action in providing emergency care and ongoing support, Brighton is now a miraculous survivor! We are immensely thankful for the assistance and prayers extended towards his recovery!

Rae Rae - Heartland Pet Rescue

​Rae Rae, a sweet girl, was abandoned by her owners who moved out, leaving her in a garage without food or water for a week. Additionally, Rae Rae suffered from a painful cherry eye. Thanks to Pawsitive Effects, we were able to provide her with the necessary surgery to successfully fix her eye.
